Jung Falls, also known as Nuranang Falls, is a spectacular waterfall located near Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. Cascading from a height of about 100 meters, it is one of the most picturesque and lesser-known waterfalls in India. The falls are nestled amidst dense forests and serene landscapes, offering visitors a tranquil and refreshing experience. Jung Falls is fed by the Tawang River and is located close to the small village of Jung, which lies between Tawang and the famous Sela Pass.
The falls are not only a natural wonder but also hold cultural significance for the local Monpa tribe. A small hydel plant near the falls generates electricity for the surrounding areas, adding to its importance.
